: E-Safety Assembly for Safer Internet Day
The children delivered some very important e- safety messages in the E- Safety Sharing assembly on Tuesday. The children are very aware of the potential dangers of using the internet and the importance of not sharing personal information. Well done to Mrs. Lord and Mr. Wykes who took part in the team quiz which resulted in a draw. The children form Years 1 and 2 shared their Top Tips for being safe online and sang the E-Safety song from Lee and Kim’s Adventures (a CEOP e-safety film). Years 3 and 4 had made some excellent posters about staying safe on the internet using the acronyms SAFE or SMART.
Years 5 and 6 showed us the video they made about values they feel are important and can be seen around school. For those of you who were unable to make the assembly, there are links on the website to find out more about e-safety.
E-Safety is given high priority at Charlton-on Otmoor school. The children have all had E-Safety training (November 2016) and are aware of the potential dangers using the THINKUKNOW/CEOP resources. There will be a Safer Internet Day at school on February 7th ending with an assembly which parents are invited to.
These links will take you to some more information on how to keep your children safe online.
You can find the school's policy and pupil/parent agreement under the Policies section. If you haven't already done so, please return your form as soon as possible.
